Quotes/ Orders:
All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date provided which is usually sent to customers through email. Expired quotes will need to be re-quoted. Any change to any part of the initial specifications can effect the price and needs to be mentioned before order is placed. Additional specifications, additional process and or details of design which are not mentioned in quote form, order form, pro-forma invoice and or email, must be sent to us in written form before order is placed*. All information on quote forms, order forms, pro-forma invoice and or emails have to be checked by customers before order is placed*.
Supply Only:
We do not carry out free surveys for orders that are based on supply only. The free survey service is only for orders that potentially include installation. If the customer chooses to place a supply only order after our survey, we are unable to use the measurements and or details taken by our surveyor. Customers are liable to provide all measurements and order specifications in written form for supply only orders; hand written in shop, through email or text message. Over the phone orders will need to be confirmed through a written form. Our delivery service for supply only orders is chargeable and its cost depends on the location. Alternatively the goods can be collected from our shop for free of charge. All lead times given are estimates only.
Supply and Installation:
We provide a free basic survey with no obligations for quotation purpose only with potential supply and installation orders. If the customer then chooses to place a supply only order, we are unable to use the measurements and or details taken by our surveyor. Once the order is placed, our surveyor may have to revisit the site to do a final survey and or templating if required. Production lead time, installation date and its duration are estimates only. During the installation, our fitters are required to keep their shoes on for safety reasons. At least one person should be present during the installation unless otherwise agreed prior to installation date. Customers are responsible to check all aspects of products which can not be shown after installation, before installation has begun. Once installation is complete, the customer or their representative should check and point-out any issues to the fitter/ fitters while she is/ he is/ they are still on site. If the customer or their representative is unable to attend site during the installation and therefore unable to check the condition of work, goods and or site, this will be at customer's own risk. Customers are responsible for redecoration.
Process:
Scratches on glass are only acceptable when they are visible at 1 meter distance in neutral light. This means that scratches on glass which can only be seen at a distance closer than 1 meter or at 1 meter distance only in daylight are not acceptable. Colour of glass, tint, paint and patterns in Antique mirrors can vary from batch to batch. In glass processing, the tolerance of +/-2mm for standard shapes and +/-4mm in special shapes is normal. Reflection of light from different lights and or surfaces can make the product seem different. All specifications on quote form, order form, pro-forma invoice and or email should be checked by customer before order is placed. Any wrong, missing and or unclear specification, process detail or dimension should be sent to us in written before the start of the production which is when order is placed*.
Collections:
For customers who choose to collect their orders from our shop/ showroom, we can only keep your order for 10 days from when you are informed that your order is ready unless it is arranged prior to order being placed. We are not liable for any damages caused to orders after this period unless it is arrange prior to order being placed. Customers are liable to physically collect and carry the goods from our shop/ showroom.
Deliveries:
All of our deliveries are kerbside deliveries only and our driver is not responsible to physically assist with the offloading of your goods from the vehicle. If our driver agrees to assist with the offloading, any damages caused are at customer's own risk. All given delivery dates and times are estimates. All goods should be checked and inspected when they are received and any issues should be written on our delivery note.
Payments:
We require full payment before order is processed for majority of orders. If partial payment terms have been agreed, the full payment should be made on completion date. Daily late payment charges and or debt collection process may apply to late payments unless otherwise agreed. All products supplied and or installed by us will remain AZ Glass Ltd's property until full payment is complete.
Cancellations:
The cancellation acceptance depends on the stage which the order is asked to be cancelled. If the order is accepted to be cancelled, all expenses for processed and purchased goods will be deducted as well as services provided. This include any free services that was provided free of charge because of the placed order such as collections, deliveries, final surveys, products used on surveys, fitter's cost for time spent, etc.
Warranty or guarantee:
Our warranties and or guarantees differ from product to product as well as order type. The building structure which is in direct contact with our product needs to be in accordance with the Building Regulations and British Standards in order for the warranty and or guarantee to be valid.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
We will not tolerate any use of profanity, verbal threaths or any acts of violence towards our staff.
Workshop & Showroom:
There's no access for customers in our workshop unless you have permission and are supervised by one of our staff. Our showroom/ shop can be accessed by public. Customers should not touch any products in the showroom or workshop.
